Froddo Shoes now at Ogam Igam

At Ogam Igam we are always on the lookout for excellent quality shoes that support growing feet throughout school and play, whilst retaining a fun and colourful aesthetic. Froddo, a heritage Croatian shoe maker, embodies our outlook down to a tee. The brand focuses on creating shoes that are both environmentally friendly and care for the health of your children’s feet. All of their shoes are free from harmful compounds and substances, such as Chromium (VI), and are produced in an environmentally friendly manner.
Froddo prides its self on creating playful shoes that are handmade and designed with the anatomical structure of a child’s foot in mind. But their styles are far from serious or clinical, they are produced in an array of bright colours and fun designs perfect for creating a playful, creative look. The brand is new to our shop, with just a few starter styles currently. But now we’ve got our hands on these beautifully designed shoes, we are looking forward to expanding our range. Here are a few of our favourites…
For little ones, the Froddo Blue Shoes from the brand’s ‘first steps’ line, is a great starter sandal. Featuring double rip tape straps for adjustability and security on a delightful corn flower blue leather upper. The style has a removable leather cushioned foot bed with ‘check fit markings’. This ingenious feature allows you to track the growth of your child’s foot, providing you with peace of mind on a great fit. For girls, we have a White Patent T-bar Shoe. The cute design, complete with floral cut out detailing, is the perfect summer shoe to match with every outfit. The shoe is fully leather lined with a padded ankle collar for comfort and the style sports a durable yet flexible sole with extra toe bumper protection.
For older girls, Froddo has sweet Mary Jane styles for both in and out of school wear. Its Pink Mary Jane Style Shoe has been constructed from soft fuchsia leather and features delicate perforation detailing at the toe. Like all of the brand’s styles, foot health has not been forgotten as the shoe has a fully leather lined insole with a removal padded foot bed and ankle collar. The flexible sole unit comes up around the front of the shoe to create a generous toe bumper, perfect for fuss free play!
Also featuring a sturdy toe bumper is the Black Mary Jane Style School Shoe. With a single rip tap strap for comfort and fit, the shoe is made from smooth black leather with brogue style detailing at the toe and heel. Again, being fully leather lined this shoe is a great style for the all-day wear that a shoe school demands. Good instep support and a flexible sole unit makes this shoe an ideal choice for active girls.
