Where did the summer go? One minute it was blazing sunshine in July and now we are rolling into September and the start of the cooler months. The end of August is a great time of year for us in the shop, we have the last week of ‘back to school’ to keep us on our toes and deliveries of our new autumn/winter stock are arriving all the time. Just like starting a new year at school, it’s an exciting time!
So which camp are you in? Were you super organized and had the new school uniform plus school shoes bought well into July? Or are you more laidback, waiting to sort things out in the final week of the holidays? Fortunately, we can cater for both! For those who still need to tick school shoes off their back to school list, we’ve got plenty of staff in the shop ready to fit and measure our great range of school shoes. And for those that like to think ahead, we’ve got some of our new season boots in ready for the colder weather. We’ve got plenty shoes to keep each camp happy, here’s a little rundown of our favourites.
Last dash school shoes…
Dependable favourites are always a great choice for time pressed purchases. Our top selling boy’s school shoes are the Geox Savage, a double rip tape strap style that rides high up the ankle. It sports a rubber toe cap and a generous serrate sole unit making them fantastically long lasting. For girls, the Lelli Kelly Classic patent Mary Jane is a great all-rounder for school. For older girls with a more discerning taste, the Clarks Jules Walk brogue is a fashion forward tailored shoe in black leather. Laces fasten the shoe giving it an elegant edge.
New season first picks…
Winter boot season is just around the corner and we’ve got plenty of choice to keep your feet warm and dry this season! With new styles coming in every week, we’ll have a style that’s perfect for you. Currently we’ve got the start of our Geox children’s styles in, from the classic Sofia girls boot in smooth leather with equestrian styling to the modern Shawntel ankle boot with a glitter heel. For lads, the Perth boy’s shoe is a sneaker boot hybrid that provides the best of both worlds, the comfort of trainers with the supportive structure of an ankle boot.
Ladies, if you’re looking for a treat for yourself – Romika have a selection of fashionable yet functional winter boots. Featuring TopDryTEX uppers, that make the shoe waterproof, plus with cozy fleece linings they’ll quickly become staple items in your winter wardrobe. For sleeker styles look to Geox’s offerings of smooth leather ankle boots with fashion forward detailing. The Lucinda boot by the brand has traditional Chelsea boot styling updated with coffee brown leather and a stacked heel.
