ANGULUS – International style with a local touch

Here at Ogam Igam we pride ourselves on our diverse range of children’s shoes, from well known favourites such as Clarks and Start-rite to beautiful continental brands that are a little more unique.
ANGULUS is just one of those brands, combining classic European style with both superb quality and comfort. Made from all natural materials, the Danish brand has won international awards for the excellent fit, quality and design of their shoes including the prestigious British Junior Magazine Design Award three years running and the Danish award for the Best Children’s Shoe – the “Børn i Byen”.
Hand stitched in Portugal, each shoe takes a total of 48-60 steps to complete. The result is a study shoe that can work for both school and play. The brands signature crepe rubber sole is extremely durable and hard wearing yet retains the flexibility to allow freedom for growing feet.
Their school shoes are firm favourites in our Penarth shop – the girl’s T-bar shoe features a soft black leather upper with brogue styling and a single riptape strap. The T-bar style and generous toe box is great for those with a wider instep. Also from the brand, timeless black leather Mary Jane’s with split stitch detailing at the toe for those that like to stand out. The leather insole and padded ankle collar featured in both styles ensures comfort for long school days.
On to boots – ANGULUS’ Chelsea boots are a staple for both girls and boys. They come in range of colours and finishes to suit even the most decerning young customer, from classic smooth navy leather to fun cherry red patent. All styles feature the durable crepe sole hand stitched to an all leather upper with the indicative Chelsea style elastic panelling.
Angulus also caters for little feet too, their lace up boot combines a classic aesthetic with the security and comfort required for a younger child. The flexible crepe sole gives great grip and the cushioned leather food bed ensures breathability.
Looking forward into Spring, the brand’s girls T-bar shoe with heart cut-out detailing is a beautiful style to see in the new season. Available in both fun fuchsia patent and smooth navy leather, the shoe comes up onto the ankle to provide excellent support. Its a perfect example of the brand’s stylish aesthetic but without compromising on comfort or fit.
